Resources for Older Adults

Whistlestop Wheels

For visits to older adults aging in place at home, Covia offers volunteer visits. It also has a program for at home older adults to connect with community and educational opportunities via the phone.

Learn about all of your transportation support options.  Talk to a Travel Navigator who will share eligibility details for special needs, door-to-door transportation, the taxi program, the STAR volunteer driver program and more.

CarePool is a volunteer driver service that offers free rides to Marin residents 65+ and to people with disabilities.  This program helps older adults get to medical appointments or the grocery store and offers a unique "door-through-door" service.
