Ukulele Strumfest Number Two at Bello Gardens!
BTM music coordinator Rob Thomure returned for a second ukulele class “play along/ sing along” on September 24, 2019 at Bello Gardens in San Anselmo. Besides ukuleles, hand percussion instruments such as shakers and a frame drum were also given out for a rhythm section. Residents sang. strummed and tapped their hand drums to “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling”, “You are My Sunshine”, “What a Wonderful World”, “Keep on the Sunny Side of Life”, “Five Foot Two” and more. Thanks to Bello Gardens Activities Director Shelley Katz for facilitating and being so supportive.
